@Craig: You are not missing anything. I ask myself what the difference is with all the web browsers! Just like the browsers, each RSS Feed brings something different to the table. Maybe that one unique feature is why people prefer one RSS Feed over the other? Google Reader just provides the content. Bloglines provides content and images. bloglovin' lets you view the actually blog site and with the Muffin, you can move from one blog site to another all in the same window. In the end, it's all about your personal preference on how you want your updates presented.

@Mattias: I enjoyed testing bloglovin'. The Muffin is really amazing! Congrats on your success!

Thanks Marinel for the post, the ranking and the feedback! We're right now working on getting rid of all blog-duplicates.

You might be right about us driving people from using the tool by beeing fashion-oriented. However, it's helped us get traction within the fashion-sphere!

Thanks again!

What is the difference between all these RSS feeds? I use Google Reader and maybe I use it at a basic level, but all I need is to be updated when my blogs are on it have a new post. Pretty simple, yet I see new apps pitching to use them. Am I missing something? Or are all these apps basically doing the same simple thing in different ways?
