		<description>Great post. It raises several questions and references some good content. The only problem is it pigeonholes Lifestreaming as a concept simply to push personal content. Sure some folks do this, but to assume that everyone who Lifestreams only does it with this purpose in mind is limiting.

My Lifestream fills the gap of sharing content related to technology, Drupal, Wordpress, online tools and services, and much more that supplements my blog. 

On the flipside I like to follow friends &amp; peers Lifestreams to gain similar information as well as recommendations for food, books, movies and more. I look to my friends to curate the best content and help me discover new stuff. How is this any different than having a discussion with friends at dinner or at a party in which the same information is shared?

Lastly you can provide a Lifestream as a totally separate layer of content that isn&#039;t forced on anyone and is opt-in.
